Speed Riding/Speed Flying (En)

Also called Speed Flying, this is a new sport that join skiing and gliding. Paraglider and parachute are the most utilized flight device, it's important to underline that in case of parachute the wing in already opened, so you don't need to jump anywhere!

This kind of sport borns in French, and now it is known in the whole world, it may be a full safe sport or an extreme sport, as it is approached.
Weather conditions and slope are important to define the approach, then the safety, of this sport; as also important are the devices and equipment used. Parachute wings are faster then paraglider, so this can decide the descend ratio and the speed. Some year ago, we took off with a paraglider from a ski-track in Tonale (northern Italy), this resulted in a quite long flight above mountains and villages, but this wasn't speed flying because we wear hiking boots...
